I am Back!

Hello all my dear friends,

ah it feels like forever! Life has been so busy... there hasn't been anytime to entertain my sweet guests at the blog party. :)

Last Thursday my dear aunt came in town, and all us girls headed down to west palm beach and stayed in a hotel on the ocean! We had such a wonderful time...and I am so thankful to the lord for those precious bonding times with my dear mother aunt and sisters!

But alas that is not all...in two days we are leaving for Texas! 

No greater joy is putting on a conference and our family is ecstatic. :)

Now I know we havent had time to post lately,  so we have decided to exstend the party, and go on untill november!

but enough said...now its time to move on to the party!

Because autumn is a time of smells. And fun festivitys...its one of my goals to try and make our home smell pleasant and enviting.

Ideally I would love to bake apple pies and pumkin bread all day long...but as you know..life isn't always like that. :)

So one of my favorite things to do is gather up all of our fun spices like cinnamon nutmeg allspice and cloves And trow them into a small pot of boiling water and let it simmer throughout the day... after an hour or so,  you'll be smelling cinnamon all through out the house! And it givest hat warm comforting smell of fall we all love! There's not precise amount of spices... this is something you can be creative with...last time I added a tea bag which really made things smell sweet...but I will say, be sure to check it every now and than and add more water.:)

Because Fall Is a time Of Smells and yummy treats! 

I thought it Appropriate to start off With A recipe! ...What better way to make your Home Smell Warm and Delightful?

For those of you who follow me on Pinterest you may have seen me pin this This One...

But hey...Whats pinterest for any way? :)

~Candy Corn Sugar Cookies~

2 Sticks Butter, softened

1 c. Sugar

1 Egg
2 T. Lemon Juice
2 t. Lemon Zest
1/8 t. Salt
3 c. Flour
1/2 t. Baking Soda
Red Food Dye
Yellow Food Dye
1/2 c. Granulated Sugar (for dusting)

Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add egg, lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt. Continue beating until well mixed. Add flour and baking soda, beat until well mixed. Divide dough into thirds. Press one-third of the white dough evenly into the bottom of a loaf pan that you have lined with foil, wax, or parchment paper. Place another one-third of the dough into a bowl and add yellow and red food dye to make orange (refer to the chart on the back of your box). Once it is mixed evenly, press orange dough evenly over white dough. In another bowl, add the final amount of dough and dye yellow. Press that evenly over the orange dough. Cover and refrigerate until firm (2 hours or overnight is best). Once chilled, invert your loaf pan and unwrap your dough. Flip it back over and place it on a cutting board. Cut loaf crosswise into 1/4-inch slices using a sharp knife, trimming edges to make even, if necessary. Cut each slice into 6 wedges.

Place 1-inch apart onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-10 minutes in a pre-heated 375 degree oven. Place cookies straight into a bowl with sugar and coat. Place coated cookies on a baking rack to cool.

Well... I used to play the piano, but decided to work more with my gifting...I sing :)

Okay...wow...hmmmm...For one, I would love to go back to the biblical days to see Jesus!...or I would go back to the late 1800's in the Victorian era!

I have many...

Blog, draw, write,talk with friends, do weird things, and make movies!

A Black or Red Ford f250...Mustang convertible, or a  Ferrari,

Italy, Ireland, or this island I saw a picture of that's really cool...but I cant remember what it's called. :)

Flooding.

It would be pretty cool to be a honey bee, but they only live 30 days... then I thought...perhaps a lightning bug? and they live 9 months! which is not to bad...but if I wanted to live a long time as a bug...I'd be a Termite queen...she can live up to  50 years. :D

11. What's your worse cooking experience?

Hmmm...Once I made a salad for a whole crowd and added WAY to much salt!

and another time I thought blue agave  was molasses, and used that (plus sugar) in some ginger bread cookies :D

Lego Entry!

Lego's!

 You all know them, Love them, and Grew up with them!

Those toys no kid can stay away from.

But my dear reader,  It pains me to say that I haven't really  sat down to play with Lego's in a while! 

Yeah sure, here and there I'll sit down to  play with Frankie. and I always love seeing what new creations the kids have built. and I  get such pleasure in seeing what new mini figures the Sib's have brought home!

But I just haven't sat down to create something of my own! :)

 Well Last month, as some of you may know, my dear siblings had a lego Contest over at their blog, Naturally I did not participate, being a sibling and all,

 But this Month I was happy yo find that Melody decided to host here very own as well! 

Naturally I couldn't pass up such a fun opportunity. :)

So I did it!!!

I played with LEGO'S!!!

How I love the adorable piece's of plastic...and will, forever more. :)

"Journal entry" for lamplighter summer reading challenge:

Hey Ya'll,

The lamplighter summer reading challenge is coming to an end!! :(

It was so much fun to join. and I hope we can do it again next year!

 I read this one afternoon, and was so greatly encouraged to keep my heart pure. and trust my heavenly, and earthly father to know what is best! As girls we need to be careful not to give our special gift of purity away to others before our True prince comes along. this is a great reminder to listen to our Fathers instruction, and to trust them with our hearts!

Lamplighter summer reading Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

This year my siblings and I are doing The Lamplighter summer reading Challenge!

We are having such fun Listening to Lamplighter dramas, reading and making short videos to earn points!

At the end of the summer if you have made up the required amount of points you win a free audio drama!

Its a great way to stay busy, and set a goal.

There are so many things about Florida that I love!!! 

and One of them is The Beach!

Last week Momma decided that we should take the Day off, and head to the beach for the Afternoon.

Naturally we weren't apposed to this Grand Idea, :) and quickly got our things together. 

I'm so thankful to the Lord for these times with my Family, and For the Love that he has for us, to create such beauty and Splendor for our Enjoyment!

Mint popcorn balls!

Hello My dear Reader!

Hope this post finds you well.

The Other day, Gracia and I decided to make a little snack for the three of us at home.

Pop Corn Balls, are one of our Favorites when ever Marshmallows are at our Disposal!!!

They're a fun snack and easy to make!!! Much like Rice crispy treats...but instead of Pop'ed rice you use Popcorn...Catching on? :)

Ingredients:

1 bag of Marshmallows 

7 Cups of pop Corn (on estimate )

and lastly, about  3 TBS of butter

Together we Pop'ed our Popcorn, and proceeded to melt our Marshmallows,

I brought the pan over to the table so we could get ready to poor the pop corn in.

As I stirred, Frankie sat over the pot with great anticipation, waiting for the Final result!

After we added the Popcorn, we stopped to taste our treat...That was when I tasted it!!!

"do you taste root beer?..." I said to Frankie and Gracia.

 "No...no..Tooth paste...?" then the flavor finally made sense to my little taste buds...!

"GUM... that's it... that's what I Taste!"...It was at that very moment Frankie looked up to me in horror, and said...

"UHH OH!"

"MY GUM!...WHERE IS IT?.. He looked around for it, but there was no sign.

"IT MUST HAVE FALLEN IN!"

Ahhh, That my Friend's is  family life at it's best!!

And Me, one of those people who Love, LOVES mint with a passion, Was so richly blessed with a Brother who Knows what I want, in the drop of a mouth! Even before I ask...Now I tell you who could ask for more.

I LOVE YOU my Dear Little Frankie!!!

and My Sweet little Gracie!!!

and Thank God for the joy you bring to my Life!
